Changes to Community Club

The AFL Community Club website is undergoing a refurbishment which is bringing changes and improvements to the site.

Streamlined Coaching Section

We've rearranged the Coaching section to make the categories clearer and pages easier to find:

• Drills and Skills now includes Game Day Strategy with articles categorised into

  • Handballing
  • Defensive Strategies
  • Forward Strategies
  • Midfield Strategies
  • Ruck Strategies and Stoppages
  • Game Day

• Streamlined Coaching Tips section

New Schools Section

The most significant change is the introduction of a Schools section which has replaced the Volunteering section.

• The Schools section is aimed at teachers and AFL Schools Ambassadors

  • Links to all of the 2012 Schools online engagement activities: AFL Quiz; Dream Team; Schools Tipping
• Volunteering has now moved to Volunteer Management under Manage Your Club

Increased Play Section

The Play AFL has more content including:

• Fun game for kids: Play Like a Pro footy cards
• Disability Inclusion
• Multicultural Program
• Indigenous Community
• Expanded International section

We've also updated the look of our masthead to reflect the many communities we serve. In coming weeks you'll also see a whole new home page.

Most URLs have stayed the same, so you should still be able to get to all your bookmarks and favourites. However, if a page has moved and you can no longer find it, please contact us.
